Piercing Studio Slammed For Horrific Sign On Wall

An Israeli backpacker has told of the shocking moment she was refused service – because of her home country.

Mohr Wenger took to Facebook over the weekend to reveal the experience that was so overwhelming, it took her nearly two days to write about it.

She said she was traveling around Australia with a friend when they decided to stop in at Cairns business, Cold Steel Piercing, about getting their noses pierced together.

“The guy looked kind off confused and asked us where do we come from? Israel,” she wrote.

“At that moment that guy said he can't pierce our nose because he doesn't serve Israelis out of principal.”

Pointing to a sign on the wall that said “No Israelis served here”, the man told them he didn’t agree with what their government does.

The post has since gone viral with calls for people to boycott the business. The company has yet to respond to the controversy.
