Pedestrian Hit And Killed By Truck In Western Sydney
A pedestrian has died after being hit by a truck on the M4 near Penrith.
It’s believed that the male pedestrian was walking on the side of the motorway 200m east of Mulgoa Rd near Jamisontown when a truck travelling eastbound struck him.

Police have confirmed that a man was hit at about 12:20pm near the on-ramp.
The driver of the truck was taken to Nepean Hospital to undergo mandatory blood and urine testing. It is believed that he is also suffering from shock.

Police and paramedics are on the scene and two city-bound lanes have been closed to traffic. The single eastbound lane remaining open is experiencing heavy traffic and motorists are being advised to avoid the area if possible.
