More Medium Density Housing On The Way For Sydney
We've seen plenty of apartments spring up across Sydney in recent years, and now the State Government wants a different type of housing boom.
A new code will come into force in three months, making it easier and faster for medium density housing to be built.
That means more duplexes, small unit blocks, terraces and manor houses popping up in already established suburbs.
"What it means is that there will be able to be a greater diversity of housing supply in Sydney," said Jane Fitzgerald from the Property Council.
"Greater supply should mean improving affordability."
