Man Makes Sexual Gesture While Following Women In His Car

A man has been charged following investigations into reports of alleged acts of indecency at North Parramatta.

Around 1pm on Tuesday, a 17-year-old school girl was allegedly followed by a man in a silver Mazda along Fennell Street. The man motioned for her to approach his vehicle and was allegedly seen by the girl to commit an act of indecency.

The girl later reported the incident to staff at her school who contacted police.

Just before midday the next day - yesterday - a 45-year-old woman was walking along Buller Street when a man in a silver Mazda drove slowly next to her.

The woman saw the man allegedly committing an act of indecency. He then gestured towards her and allegedly simulated a sexual act. The woman was able to record the details of the car and contacted police.

Police arrested the 29-year old man at his Parramatta home last night and charged him with two counts of commit act of indecency.

The man was refused bail to appear before Parramatta Local Court today.
