Man Found "Bound & Gagged" In Western Sydney Field

An investigation is underway after an injured man was found, reportedly bound and gagged, in a paddock in Sydney's west this afternoon.

According to initial reports, emergency services were called to Captain Cook Drive in Willmot just after 12.30pm on Tuesday, where they found the man, in his 20s, in the scrub behind a home.

It was an Ambulance NSW spokeswoman who revealed that he had been tied up, although she also confirmed that "there doesn't seem to be any significant injuries."

Mt Druitt police came across the man while attending to a driving complaint, a NSW Police spokeswoman said, but it is not yet known whether the two cases are related.

More as we get it.
