Man Charged With Fatal Shooting Of 15-Y-O Brayden Dillon
A man has been charged with the murder of a 15-year-old boy as he slept in his bed in April of this year.
The arrest was made just hours after police released CCTV footage of a white Mazda car which they believed was connected to the killing; tactical teams swooped on the Seven Hills address late last night, arresting and charging the 26-year-old with the fatal shooting of Brayden Dillon.
Brayden was asleep at his family's home in Glenfield on April 14 when a masked man burst through the front door just after 6am and threatened his mother with a pistol.
The intruder then pushed upstairs and shot Brayden twice in the head before fleeing.
Though Brayden was taken to Westmead Hospital, he sadly died a few hours later.
His sixteenth birthday would have been Wednesday.
