Magistrate Blasts Ines Basic During Sentencing

The Married at First Sight TV bride Ines Basic pleaded guilty in a Queensland court to drink driving and obstructing police - and other offences committed on Christmas Day last year.
Basic swore at police repeatedly and gave them a false name at a Redland Bay property last year, the court was told.
Magistrate Deborah Vasta let her off with only a fine, no criminal conviction recorded and 70 hours of community service, but blasted her in court calling her an "absolute brat" who was living in a "bubble of artificiality".
"I get you might have been drunk but it's still no excuse," Magistrate Vasta said.
"I think the best way for you to repay your debt to society is rolling up your sleeves, and getting out into the community and amongst reality and the real fabric of society."
"Because whatever reality TV show you've been on, it's not reality."
