Luxury Sports Car Stolen And Crashed In Western Sydney

A manhunt is underway for the driver of a stolen sports car who fled the scene of an accident in western sydney this morning.

Just before 6am, a Hyundai Excel collided with the stolen Porsche Cayenne at the intersection of Forrester Road and Palmyra Avenue at Ropes Crossing.

The Hyundai driver, aged in his 70's, was taken to hospital and treated for multiple fractures before being taken to Westmead Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Meanwhile, the male occupants of the overturned Porsche fled the scene.

Officers from Mount Druitt Local Area Command attended and with the assistance of the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit, commenced investigations into the incident and are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information about the vehicle car or its occupants to come forward.
