Investigation Launched Into Alleged Upskirting Incident
An investigation has been launched into an alleged upskirting incident at a shopping centre in Sydney's west over the weekend.
Security at Penrith Westfield called police after a 52-year-old man was detained by a concerned shopper who claims to have seen him standing close to women in queues at around midday on Sunday.
When the customer approached the man, a short scuffle ensued until security stepped in.
When police spoke to the 52-year-old, they found a concealed video camera which has been seized and sent for review.
The man was released pending further inquiries.
