Iconic Blue Mountains Café Set To Close Its Doors
It's the end of an era for an iconic Blue Mountains Café.
The Paragon Café has been in business for over 100 years but is set to close its doors in May.
It first opened in 1916 and has since become nationally and internationally recognised for its Greek hospitality and its art deco interiors.
Robyn Parker, the current café owner, says the pressures of rent and dealing with the foibles of a century old building has left her with no choice but to close the business.
But not all is lost - Ms Parker has promised to serve the cafe's famed chocolate and confectionery lines at another location in the future.
