Home Invaders In Western Sydney Leave Man With Head Injuries

A man remains in hospital with head injuries after his home was invaded in Western Sydney.

Around 6.40pm last night, two men knocked on the door of a unit on Memorial Avenue, Liverpool.

The occupant, a man aged 42, answered the door and was confronted by the men who were asking for his drivers’ licence.

The man refused and the intruders became aggressive, pushing past the him and entering the unit.

Inside they assaulted the occupant, punching and kicking him before hitting him with a metal towel rail then fleeing the scene.

He suffered head injuries and was taken to hospital for further treatment. His injuries are not considered life threatening.
