A fourth person has spoken out to the ABC with allegations against Crown Casino in Melbourne claiming that the poker machines were tampered with to limit the betting options.
This latest whistleblower is the fourth person to make claims against the casino after federal independent MP Andrew Wilkie brought the issue to light with three other accounts of tampering in October.
Marlene Kairouz, the minister for Victorian Gaming has said that the case was being examined by the Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation but she would not give further comment regarding the allegations.
"As I've said right from the beginning, the regulator is taking these allegations quite seriously and so am I," said Ms Kairouz.
Crown Casino are also remaining tight lipped on the allegations with a Crown spokeswoman only saying that "any allegations of this nature should be referred to the VCGLR."
