Fears For Missing Toddler After Body Found In Creek

The toddler's body was discovered by four people in Darebin Creek about 2.45am on Sunday.

She went missing from Olympic Park in Heidelberg West on Saturday morning.

"The body has not been formally identified, but investigators believe it to be the missing child from Heidelberg West," Victoria Police Senior Constable Paul Turner said in a statement.

The Toddler had been missing since Saturday morning when she was allegedly snatched from her pram at around 10am. 

The situation was immediately treated as suspicious and multiple family members had spoken to the media, pleading for her safe return. 

Family members had been assisting police with their inquiries.
