Aus Post Under Fire After Workers Are Filmed Throwing Parcel
Australia Post is coming under fire after its couriers were found to be throwing packages on the ground in a McDonald’s car park.
The group of Star Track workers were sorting through the mail at the fast food chain at Currambine, in Perth, on Wednesday.
Onlooker Michelle Shoosmith filmed the incident and told 7News 'I was like oh my goodness. People need to see what they're doing to their belongings.’’
In the video, the workers are seen to band together to unload packages from the back of the van before one worker looks at a packaged and throws it on the ground.
Since the video was uploaded to social media, it has been shared more than 11,000 times.
Australia Post has since apologised over the incident and said it has launched an investigation.
