$1 Million Winning Lotto Ticket Sold In Western Sydney
Someone - or, rather, 11 people - are waking up with a much healthier bank account this morning with Lotto confirming that Saturday's winning ticket was sold in western Sydney.
The ticket, which was bought as a syndicate at a newsagent in Werrington, netted a $1 million dollar prize for the lucky group.
"The 11 players were part of a store syndicate sold at Werrington County Newsagency... in Werrington," the statement from Lotto said.
"The 11 very happy Saturday Lotto players will each be going home with $97,006.00 thanks to their two-game System 10 entry."
But since none of the players are registered, their identities remain a mystery.
Which means that if you're part of a Lotto syndicate, we'd thoroughly recommend you check your ticket as soon as possible.
