'Weight Watchers' Are Ditching Their Famous Before And After
We're not sure about you, but we love a good news story and watching someone live their best life through health and wellbeing is a big part of this.
Iconic brand, Weight Watchers is about to lose some weight of their own with their new "strategic vision" focusing on long-term "wellness" and healthy habits.
Out goes the old "before and after" pic and in comes "inspire healthy habits for real life". To be honest, we could not be more on board with this!
As part of the revamp, WW will remove artificial ingredients from their products and hope to attract 10 million worldwide members by 2020.
To help combat a new generation of unhealthy habits, free membership will be offered to teens between 13 and 17 years old.
The strategy was revealed at a conference in the US with head of social media Lauren Salazar confirming the new direction.
In an interview with News.com.au, CEO Mindy Grossman said: “It’s about being healthy 365 days a year, not just during diet season.”
