Best Job In The World Wants To Pay YOU To Travel For A Year

After a long winter of sitting here in freezing cold Oz watching all our friends on social media live it up in sunny Europe, it's safe to say we've definitely caught the travel bug. Buuuuuut the only thing stopping us is it's kind of expensive to go on a big overseas trip.

So what if we told you that you could actually get PAID rather than fork out the money to travel the world...And the only catch? You just have to document your adventures on social media!

That's right, The New York Times are giving away the ULTIMATE job in order to help create their annual '52 Places To Go' list for the coming year on. That's a new place every week for a year people!

The job ad reads: "This year, we want at least one ambitious traveller to turn our wish list into an itinerary. We are seeking a writer who will go to every destination on our list and tell us the story of each place and the story of life on the road.

"The ideal candidate is a permanent student of life and astute documentarian of the world. This person should have a well-worn passport, the ability to parachute into a place and distil its essence and to render a compelling tale with words and images.

"Media experience is required, as is fluency in English, expertise in social media and facility with digital devices. Familiarity with languages beyond English is a plus though not a requirement. This is a temporary position."

And in better news, the job ad was only put up yesterday so there's plenty of time for you to get your application in.

All you have to do is send in a resume, cover letter describing the most interesting place you've visited and links to your social media accounts to the official New York Times jobs listing website.

So get working on your instagram filter choices, brush up on your high school language lessons and dust off that camera that your parents bought you for your birthday years ago and apply!

You'll never have to complain about the daily grind again!
