The Tiny Detail That Sold This House After 10 Weeks

An interesting marketing technique has paid off for a New Zealand real estate agent after a property sat on the market for 10 weeks.

According to the NZ Herald, Pat Lapalapa, a real estate agent with Harcourts Manukau, convinced the owners to add “Walking distance to KFC ... but that’s not all” to their marketing for the Auckland property.

It worked! The campaign went “a little bit” viral on social media and Lapalapa had multiple offers for the 100 sqm renovated house on the first day.

The three-bedroom one-bathroom house in Mangere East in the city’s southern suburbs, sold in one week after the ad was posted.
