If You Take Painkillers Such As Nurofen.. Read This

If you take painkillers.. this is some rubbish news.

Experts are warning that people should avoid regularly taking Ibuprofen such as Nurofen after research showed that just one painkiller a week, increases your chance of a heart attack by 50%.

The study shows that the health hazard can start just one day after use.

Scientists have even gone and said that over-the-counter and prescription pills like ibuprofen and naproxen should be used with care and at the lowest dose possible.

“We now know all NSAIDs have the potential to increase the risk of having a heart attack. This paper suggests the larger the dose and the longer duration is associated with greater risk of harm,” says Dr Sotiris Antoniou from the Royal Pharmaceutical Society.

“If you have any doubts or questions seek advice from a pharmacist or doctor. It’s a good rule of thumb with any painkiller to take the lowest dose that’s effective for the shortest possible time.”

So.. you may want to see a doctor before you use them!
