Sydney Is Getting A Portuguese Food And Wine Fair

This weekend parts of Sydney’s Inner West will be transformed into a Portuguese extravaganza with delicious food, plenty of wine, sweet treats and as much dancing as your body can handle.

Thousands of people are expected to flock to Audley and Fisher streets in Petersham this Sunday 4th March from 10am-6pm for the annual Bairro Portuguese Food & Wine Fair; Australia’s largest Portuguese cultural fair.

To tantalise your taste buds there will be plenty of Mediterranean food options on offer such as Chorizo rolls, paella, garlic prawns, salsas and many more.

There’s also some options for people after something a little bit sweeter like Portuguese tarts and doughnuts, churros and sweet pumpkin treats!

Now what better way to wash down these delectable snacks than with glass upon glass of Australian and imported wines, beer and sangria!

Finally, to round off the cultural event you can work off everything that yo eat right on the spot with some traditional and contemporary Portuguese dancing to live music.

You can experience the Portuguese culture without having to leave the country at the 15th annual Bairro Portuguese Petersham Food & Wine Fair.
