New Food Plan From Aldi Can Feed Your Kid For $8 A Day
Any parent will tell you how hard it is to feed your kids healthy food without breaking the bank in the process.
So Aldi have listened to what what Aussie parents have been crying out for and have released a seven-day menu for kids that costs just $7.75 per child - and that includes ALL snacks and drinks as well.
The supermarket chain have teamed up with Socceroos chef and nutritionist, Vinícius Capovilla, to create the all new ALDI MiniRoos Mighty Menu.
The meal plan has been designed to keep kids full yet also give them the nutrition they need to keep active.
The menu includes several breakfast, lunch and dinner options, as well as snacks, dessert and drinks.
Some of their options include bircher muesli for breakfast, chicken caesar salad for lunch and then stir fry for dinner.
Snacks include fruit, banana bread, popcorn, an 'energy bowl' and oat bars.
Drinks include fruit smoothies and home-made chocolate milkshakes.
The recipe book and menu, published by Aldi, gives Aussie parents the option to choose a healthy meal plan each day.
That menu plan is so good, we reckon it could stretch to be used by big kids as well!
