The New Shopping Hack To Save Money On Xmas Gifts

Remember when your mum told you, "If it sounds too good to be true it probably is"?

That is most definitely 100% great advice, except in this case.

Because we've found a shopping website right here in Australia that'll give you money back for buying stuff.

Yes, anything.

We know... How can that be? Where does the money come from? What's the catch?

We've done the hard yards and gone shopping, and you know what, there is no catch at all.

*Heavy breathing*

"How did we not know about this sooner?!?" you ask? OK, here's the secret...

The site is called Cashrewards and while they don't stock the actual merchandise themselves, if you click through their site to their retail partners and make a purchase, they'll give you back a percentage of that purchase price.

According to the site, the money comes from the advertising spend from their retail partners.

There's a pretty decent selection of stores on board such as ASOS, The Iconic and a bunch of other fashion retailers, eBay, The Good Guys, David Jones and Woolworths as well as Uber,, Vodafone, Sunglass Hut, Bonds, Priceline, Dan Murphy's and way more, over 1,200 in fact.

These retailers pay Cashrewards to help boost their sales, and Cashrewards pays us, the purchaser, for buying through their site.

How good's that?

Apparently, the whole concept is pretty well-known and widely used overseas but it hasn't really hit Australian shores properly until now.

If this isn't sounding good enough already, it gets even better.

You don't have to do anything different other than sign up and click through their site first when shopping.

There's no need to bulk-buy, there's no joining fee, and you're shopping all the latest and current stock that the retailers already have available.

Now that is smart.

And if giving money back to you isn't enough, they also give to the Starlight Children's Foundation as well.
