In 1969 John Lennon and Yoko Ono began their infamous eight day protest for world peace in bed at the Hilton Hotel, Amsterdam.

The Jackson Five released ABC in 1970.

Rubin ‘Hurricane’ Carter was released from jail in 1976 – Bob Dylan wrote the song “Hurricane” about the wrongly accused criminal and film “The Hurricane” follows his life.

And Steven Spielberg’s Schindlers’ List won Seven Oscars at 1994 Academy Awards – five years later he was named Best Director for Saving Private Ryan.
