The Queen's Unsavoury Nickname For Duchess Kate
Just after all of the beautiful family snaps from Charlotte's christening, you'd be forgiven for thinking that all was well within the Royal camp.
However, according to a report on Marie Claire, Duchess Kate has earned herself the nickname 'The Duchess of Do-Little' by Queen Elizabeth.
Why? Well apparently it was due to the fact that the mum-of-two missed a royal engagement on July 10 honouring World War II pilots - and the Queen is said to NOT be happy about it.
"She would never say this in public, but even Her Majesty described Kate as 'Duchess Do-Little' when she was very tired one day," an insider told Life & Style magazine.
"She comes from a different generation and has a sense of duty above all else.
"Kate is getting a bit of a reputation for ducking out of royal duties. That's where her nicknames, 'Duchess of Do-Little' and 'Lazy Katie,' come from. If you can't find time to pay tribute to some old men who saved your country, what message does that convey?"
But the Duchess is having none of it.
"Kate is fed up with sniping from the queen as well as from others in the family, and she has told William so. She is not going to be told which jobs she should and shouldn't do," added another source.
Luckily, Wills is said to think Kate is doing a superb job! Onya Wills, great job sticking up for your girl!
