Star Wars Plane To Fly Into Sydney This Weekend

Star Wars fans will get a first look at All Nippon Airways (ANA) R2-D2-themed plane when it zooms into Sydney this weekend.

ANA has launched a fleet of three Boeing jets which pay tribute to the blockbuster movie franchise.

The Dreamliner will be making its first flight on the new Haneda, Tokyo to Sydney route landing Saturday morning.

The jet's exterior is painted blue and white to look like the brave droid and the inside boasts R2-D2 headrests.

At night the plane's lights almost brings the droid to life.

The new fleet of ANA planes also includes a BB-8 jet painted like the newest droid that will feature in The Force Awakens and a generic Star Wars jet.
