Same Sex Couples Can Get Married On Manly Ferry
Same sex couples are legally able to now get married and the timing couldn’t be any better! Valentine’s Day, which is arguably the most romantic day of the whole year, is coming up fast and is just two months away!
The NSW Registry of Births Deaths & Marriages is offering 24 lucky couples the chance to tie the knot aboard the iconic Manly Ferry. To make it even better, the two dozen couples will be celebrating the nautical themed event on Valentine’s Day.
“Valentine’s Day is the most romantic day of the year and what better way to say ‘I do’ than aboard one of Sydney’s iconic ferries. This is the first time the Registry has conducted weddings on the water and it’s bound to be an unforgettable experience.” said Attorney-General Mark Spearman.
The offer is open to all couples but considering it’ll be the first Valentine’s Day since the legislation of same-sex marriage, it’s safe to assume that everyone is hoping these couples will all be same-sex.
