One Of Australia's Biggest Shows Is Back After 15 Years
It’s been 15 years, but it seems it is time.
Channel Ten is bringing back Russell Coight’s All Aussie Adventures.
Last seen in 2002, the how was an amazingly hilarious parody on the adventure travel genre.
You asked for it… After a 15-year break, Russell Coight returns with a new series. Russell Coight's All Aussie Adventures, 2017 on TEN. pic.twitter.com/Ee5PrZ7G9F— Channel Ten (@channelten) November 3, 2016
Coight was known for bumbling his way through the outback in a mockumentary travel show which had gags galore, self-delusion, self-injury and failed bushcraft techniques.
Every show would end with the catchy ‘So what are we waiting for, let’s get cracking on another All Aussie Adventure,’’ but every joke was perfect and left Australia wanting more.
Channel Ten CEO Paul Anderson said the reason for being Coight back was to ‘create year-round consistency in our 7.30pm franchises, something Ten has never achieved before.
