No Fatalities In Horror Highway Crash That Splits Car In Two
We've heard it all before, "slow down", "don't drive when you're tired", "don't text and drive" - but it doesn't really hit home until you see vision like this.
The incident occurred on Highway 101 in Cloverdale, California on May 13 at around 8am in the morning. Miraculously, both drivers were injured but there were no fatalities.
The actual cause of this highway crash is still under investigation, but drugs are thought to be a factor. The aftermath captured on film at top suggests it was a high speed head on collision.
The crash involved a Chevrolet Impala which was split down the middle, half of it spun onto a hill alongside the highway. The other car in the accident was a Toyota Sequoia which had its bonnet squashed into its front seat.
According to witness Tom Bond, 70, a former U.S. Air Force ambulance driver, "It was just unbelievable."
Watch the incredible vision at top, and be safe on our roads.
