Massive Shirtless Jeff Goldblum Statue Erected In UK
Forget a massive T-Rex or Velociraptor or even that frilled-neck thing that spat poison into Dennis Nedry’s eyes before attacking him, what better way to mark the 25th anniversary of Jurassic Park than with a 25-foot statue of Jeff Goldblum.
Let that sink in.
Wait, wait, wait, let those two things sink in.
Jeff Goldblum in all this unbuttoned-shirt glory… and the fact that Jurassic Park is 25 fricken years old.
The #JurassicJeff statue, which captures Goldblum’s character Dr Ian Malcolm looking straight-up sultry despite the threat of dinosaur attack, appeared near the Tower Bridge in London.
UK streaming service Now TV was responsible for the breathtaking installation, which stands at 3 metres by 7 metres.
In March, Goldblum commented about the reason for the pose, which is also an infamous meme:
“It’s supposed to be Costa Rica, right? So, things are hot and I’m sure I’m in some sort of fever. All the logic is that we got to get some of these wet clothes off immediately. As I remember, I don’t think anybody fought me on that.”
On Thursday, Goldblum gave the statue ‘10/10 Goldblums’ on Instagram.
