Why This Man Proposed To His Girlfriend And Her Sister
When Will Seaton started dating Ashley Schaus in 2010, she told him, in no uncertain terms, that she and her sister Hannah, who has down syndrome and diabetes, were a ‘package deal’.
From that moment on, Hannah took part in the majority of the couple’s dates, and has been the very welcomed third wheel ever since.
So when Will decided it was time to pop the question, it was only natural that Hannah be involved.
Will got down on one knee, and asked Hannah to be his ‘best friend forever’, before turning to Ashley and asking her to marry him.
“It was the sweetest moment in my whole life watching Hannah be so happy and feeling so special,” Ashley told Fox 5.
“And then he looked at me as I was trying to stop sobbing. I asked ‘Am I next?’ Then he got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife.”

Will even presented Hannah with her own ring; an heirloom that belonged to the sisters’ grandmother.
Hannah was reportedly thrilled at Will’s gesture to include her in his proposal, giving insight into their special relationship by adding that “He takes me fishing and makes funny jokes. He makes me laugh and takes care of me”.
The wedding is planned for October, with Ashley saying her younger sister will be a major part of the ceremony.
“She’s more than just a bridesmaid, she’s practically one-third of the wedding.” Hannah and Will will exchange “best friend vows” and share a first dance to the song “Best Friend” by Harry Nilsson.
