'Love Is In The Air' & Louie The Fly Added To Hall Of Fame
We've always known that John Paul Young's classic hit Love Is In The Air is one of the all time great Aussie songs, and now it's official!
The annual list of recordings to be inducted into the National Film and Sound Archive hall of fame has been announced, and JPY's 70's hit, which also topped the charts again in 1992 when it featured on the Strictly Ballroom soundtrack has been included.
JPY recorded the song with his longtime producers Harry Vanda and George Young, who sadly passed away yesterday.
Another inductee is the classic Mortein commercial, with it's catchy jingle featuring Louie the fly, voiced by Kingswood Country star Ross Higgins.
Also making the list is the song we've all grown up knowing, the theme from Play School!
One of Australia's greatest band, INXS have been included with their 1982 hit 'Don't Change'
