Olivia: 'I Am Feeling Good And Enjoying Total Support'
After making the shock announcement in May this year that she was battling breast cancer for a second time, which this time had also spread to her back, Olivia Newton-John has now given us an update on her condition.
Posting on her Facebook account this week, the 68-year-old revealed that she is keeping positive and acknowledged all the support she has received so far.
'I am really grateful for and touched by the worldwide outpouring of love and concern for me over the last few months. Thank you,'
'I am feeling good and enjoying total support from my family, friends and my loyal fans. I am totally confident that my new journey will have a positive success story to inspire others!'
The singer also added:
'I know we will find a cure for cancer in my lifetime!'
The star was first treated for breast cancer back in 1992, when she was 43 which resulted in her undergoing a partial mastectomy, chemotherapy and breast reconstruction.
A statement on her social media earlier this year read: 'The back pain that initially caused her to postpone the first half of her concert tour, has turned out to be breast cancer that has metastasized to the sacrum.'
Wishing you all the very best for a full recovery Olivia.
