Here's What Tabitha From Bewitched Looks Like Now!
Everybody remembers the classic sitcom from Bewitched about a witch named Samantha (played by Elizabeth Montgomery) who marries a 'mortal' named Darren and tries to live as a normal, suburban housewife despite the constant meddling of her supernatural relatives!
For most of the show's eight-season run, the couple's daughter, Tabitha was played by child actor Erin Murphy.
Today, the 52-year-old is a mum of six, and is also starring alongside other stars - Alison Arngrim of Little House on the Prairie, Dawn Wells of Gilligan's Island, and Michael Learned from The Waltons in a new web series called Life Interrupted.
Erin told Fox News that starring in a show about the midlife crisis of a former child star and his dysfunctional family resonated with her.
"I say no to almost everything. I have a bit of a reputation for being picky about the things I will and won't do. But it turned out that this project had a group of my good friends,"
"The thing that made me say yes was when Alison said, 'You'll be playing my wife!' I said, 'I'll do it!' It just sounded like a lot of fun."
Erin remembers her Bewitched days fondly and says she cherishes the close relationships she formed with her TV mum and dad, Elizabeth Montgomery and Dick York (who was later replaced by Dick Sargent).
"[Elizabeth] really was like a mom to me. I definitely think of her more like a family member than a co-worker. And I think it's because when I was on set, it was just me. My parents weren't standing there next to me [while I was working]. So I looked up to her as family, as a parent almost," Erin told Fox.
"I was very lucky because I stayed in touch with people after the show was over, so I had the pleasure of hanging out with Dick Sargent as an adult and having phone conversations with Dick York. As a kid, I was very close with both of them. I grew to admire them as adults because they were such great men."
When the show wound up in 1972, Erin said she focused on being a regular kid.
She's turned down a lot of TV work over the years and says her main focus is raising her kids and enjoying life.
"I have kids at home, and I plan on traveling more," Erin said.
"I would like to do another series at some point, but I do want to spend time with family and friends, just laugh and enjoy life more. I want to do a little bit of everything."
