Don't Squash Me!
With the warmer weather upon us the Australian Wildlife Park is reminding everyone that the best thing to do if you see a funnel web spider is to try and capture it as opposed to killing it.
There's been a steep drop off in anti-venom production over the past few years, so the call has gone out to try and help boost stock to aid people who have been bitten by the creepy crawly.
The park needs around 300 spiders a year to produce the anti-venom and they rely on the general public to provide them with the spiders so that they can be milked safely.
Of course funnel-webs are pretty dangerous critters, so they've produced a video about how to capture them safely!
