Can You Spot This Snake In The Grass?

At first glance, this picture of some greenery in Victoria looks pretty harmless, but keen eyed viewers have noticed something deadly lurking in the shrubs....but can you spot it?

The photo was taken by Mark 'The Snake Hunter' Pelley near Hazel Glen College in Melbourne a few days ago.

After posting the picture to Facebook, he asked his followers if they could not only spot the snake but identify what species it was.

Mr Pelley told Yahoo 7: 'This is a still picture with a high resolution camera and even then you struggle to see it,' he said.

'There's a school right there, that's why I just wanted to bring it to the parents' attention.'

Lowland copperhead snakes grow to around one metre in length and have neurotoxic venom, which can kill an adult human if correct first aid is not applied promptly.
