QUEEN Add New Song To Set List
When Queen toured with Paul Rodgers earlier this decade, they added some of his Bad Company and Free songs into their set. Since Adam Lambert has been singing with the band, they have stuck strictly to Queen songs, and not because Brian May and Roger Taylor said so.
May suggested they do one of Lambert's songs on last year's tour, but the American was reluctant to do so. At the time, he told us, "I feel like it's a privilege for me to get in front of this audience and sing these amazing songs. I don't want to be the guy that's like, 'Listen to my stuff, too.'"
On the band's current tour of South America, they are doing "Ghost Town," a song on Lambert's new album, Original High.
Queen and Lambert are in Brazil tonight followed by Argentina on Friday and Sunday, with the finale next Wednesday in Chile
