Phil Collins' Back Surgery Postpones Reissues
Phil Collins recently underwent emergency back surgery, and as a result, he’s had to push back the release of his solo album reissue campaign.
The singer has been advised by his doctors not to travel, meaning he’d be unable to fulfill his promotional obligations initially planned for the "Take a Look at Me Now" retrospective campaign. The release of the first two reissues from the project 1981’s Face Value and 1993’s Both Sides have been postponed from November 6 to January 29.
"I am so disappointed to have to delay the release but am looking forward to being able to properly get behind this release in the new year when I can move again!" Phil says in a statement.
Phil plans to eventually re-release all eight of his solo albums as deluxe editions, which will feature bonus live versions, demos, and B-side tracks.
