George Michael May Be Touring
George Michael may be planning a return to live performing.
According to London's Sun tabloid, the "Father Figure" and "Careless Whisper" hit-maker has reached out to insurance companies a key part of tour planning.
This marks a turnaround as George had reportedly become a near-recluse after spending much of the last three-and-a-half years in rehab.
Despite selling over 100 million records, the singer-songwriter might still have trouble finding a major company to insure a tour due to numerous cancelled gigs over the years.
If George Michael returns to the stage, it won't be because he needs the money. The Sun claims he earns more than $7 million a year from royalties on his '80s and '90s catalog.
