Def Leppard Score Top 10 Album

Def Leppard have another Top 10 album. Their new self-titled effort debuts at number-10 on the Billboard 200 after selling just over 30,000 units its first week out.

Singer Joe Elliott says "I don't think anybody was really expecting anything. It's not like we were down on it, but we're realists all this time later. The music industry's changed - are people that bothered about a new Def Leppard record? We weren't really sure."

This is Def Lep's seventh Top 10 album. The others are:

Songs From the Sparkle Lounge, which debuted at number-five in 2008.

Rock of Ages: The Definitive Collection -- number-10 in 2005.

The archival compilation Retro Active -- number-nine in 1993.

Adrenalize -- number-one for five weeks in 1992.

Hysteria number-one for six weeks in 1988.

Pyromania number-two for two weeks in 1983.

Def Leppard bring their Let's Get Rocked tour to Australia from next Tuesday 17th November.
