Will Ferrell Teases Possible Plot For ‘Step Brothers 2'
There’s nothing but agreement when people discuss Step Brothers being one of the greatest comedy films of the 2000s. You’ll still find people slipping casual quotes into daily conversation from the iconic film staring Will Ferrel and John C. Reilly.
If re-watching the movie over and over again is getting a little stale then you’ll be so excited to hear that discussions of a sequel have been floating around for a while. Both director Adam McKay and Will Ferrel have spent years dismissing the idea but at the same time establishing that there is a chance of possibility.
In an interview with the New York Daily news, Will Ferrell confirmed that there is in fact a possible outline for a Step Brothers sequel! Although he did make it quite disappointedly clear that nothing has actually been planned at this point.
Ferrel even went into a little bit of detail of what the plot could be and honestly, it sound’s rather hilarious.
“We had a whole story where John and I follow our parents to live in a retirement community and try to convince them that we earned the right to retire as well.”
The one thing that appears to be holding Ferrel back is the fact that certain sequels don’t go down to well with audiences, no matter how hyped they are beforehand.
I don’t know about you, but a sequel sure sounds fantastic!
