Will Ferrell Says He Makes His Kids Watch ‘Elf’ On Repeat
Will Ferrell has made some cracker movies in his time and I reckon it's safe to say that Elf is one of the best!
Not only because Ferrell is his usual hilarious self but because he has literally managed to embody each and every one of us who are obsessed with all things Christmas - and he's provided us with so many memorable quotes in the process.
And it turns out we're not the only one's obsessed with this movie. Apparently Elf is one of Will's favourites too!
Well at least it seems to be as it was revealed that he makes his kids watch him take on the character of Buddy the Elf 10 TIMES IN A ROW at Chrissy time.
While some people might be thinking that watching anything THAT many times in a row would be like torture, we're over here trying to work out a way for Will Ferrell to adopt us! Seriously, look how cute Buddy is!
Speaking to E!, will said that he used the Elf film to try and calm his kids down when it comes to unwrapping presents, but we're surprised that it doesn't hype them up more!
"It's always chaotic. There's a lot of screaming and yelling and complaining as to when they get to open their presents...I think they each get way too many presents each," he said.
"We have three boys. And [the presents] are opened in 12 minutes. [So] I force them to watch Elf 10 times, 10 straight times. It's a marathon, and then you get to open a present after."
Seriously, as if an Elf marathon isn't a gift on it's own! Looks like we'll be starting a new Christmas tradition in my household this year! And we've got the perfect snack to go with the marathon viewing:
Just kidding! We might be mega fans but seriously, no one could eat spaghetti with maple syrup...
