Sarah Jessica Parker CONFIRMS There Will Be A SATC 3 Movie
Rumours surfaced last year that there was a third Sex And The City movie in the works.
And now Sarah Jessica Parker has officially confirmed that there is a sequel on the way.
The 51-year-old actress told Marie Claire that the movie was happening, but they were just working out when it would actually happen.
"It's in a warming drawer. It's never been a 'no'...it's always been an 'if' and 'when’,” she said.
“And that remains the question being asked by two very thoughtful people who are taking into very serious consideration those people who devoted a lot of time.”
Adding: “We're not cavalier about the way we arrive at that decision."
RadarOnline revealed last December that the entire cast had officially signed on for the third sequel and SJP along with Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis would officially begin filming.
“All the women are officially signed up for SATC movie 3,” a source close to the cast told Radar. “The deal is done and the script has been approved by all the women.”
But the publication had claimed that SJP almost didn’t get on board.
“There was a lot of back and forth,” the insider said. “Sarah Jessica Parker was not originally on board because she didn’t like the idea of the characters being portrayed in a more mature light."
So tweaks were made to the script to “make this a reality.”
“The full green light for Sex and the City 3 the movie is really new,” the insider continued. “Everyone’s happy with how things have turned out and they can’t wait to get started working together again.”
And neither can we!
