Prince Movie Box Set Out in October

We remember Prince for his groundbreaking music. And come October, we'll also get a second look at his movies.

His three films will be out in a Blu-ray package on October 4th. A newly remastered print of Purple Rain will be bundled with Graffiti Bridge and Under the Cherry Moon. Each of the three will also be sold individually via digital sources.

Released in 1984, Purple Rain won both Grammy and Academy Awards for its pulsating score. The 2016 version comes with commentary from director Albert Magnoli, producer Robert Cavallo and cinematorgrapher Donald Thorin. There are also several features and eight music videos, including the hits "Let's Go Crazy" and "When Doves Cry."

Under the Cherry Moon (1986) marked Prince's debut as a director, and Under the Graffiti Bridge (1990) featured guest appearances from George Clinton, Tevin Campbell and Mavis Staples.
