Kidman Reveals She is Still Recovering After Death Of Father
It was last September that Nicole Kidman lost her father.
The psychologist and biochemist died suddenly aged 75.
And in a recent interview with Vogue Australia, the veteran actor admitted she is still in a state of grief.
“You’ve caught me at a time when I’m still recovering and in grief,” Kidman said.
While emotional on the subject, she still has the ability to keep a level head and remind herself of the joys in life that make life worth living and moving forward.
“There are times you go, ‘Gosh, I wish I could just go and hide in a hole and never come out,’ ” she said.
“And then you go, ‘That was yesterday.’ I have a four-year-old and a six-year-old, and just hearing their laugh . . . it’s life in its most powerful form.”
It is an opinion that has strengthened her family and made her more grateful for those that she loves in her life.
Alongside her Vogue cover is an in depth feature, detailing marriage with Tom Cruise, the struggles young actresses have, husband Keith Urban and her kids and a look into the woman that extends much further than her public perception.
