Johnny Ruffo Reveals He Has Aggressive Brain Cancer
Singer and former Home and Away star Johnny Ruffo has revealed he will undergoing treatment for brain cancer following an emergency procedure that saw him rushed to surgery last Sunday.
Ruffo, 29 says that he has 'got an interesting journey ahead and a bit of a battle.'
Posting to his followers on Instagram, the star has asked his fans to 'please stay positive for me.'
Ruffo pledged to keep all of his followers up to date on his progress.
The shocking news comes after he underwent emergency surgery to remove a brain tumour.
The former X Factor star told the Daily Mail he went to hospital last Sunday suffering a migraine, only to be rushed into surgery.
'On Sunday I went into hospital with a migraine. I had to have emergency surgery to have a brain tumour removed,'
'I am on the mend and feeling positive. Keep me in your thoughts.'
Johnny's management have confirmed that he was awaiting results to see if the tumour is benign or malignant.
Ruffo he wrote on Instagram that the scare has 'put things into perspective'.
