The launch of the latest version of the iPhone has taken place, but instead of an 'iPhone 5' an upgrade to the previous model was launched, with the iPhone 4s unveiled by incoming Apple CEO Tim Cook (who replaced the legendary Steve Jobs in August).
The main tweaks centre around improved optics for enhanced video and photos.

The phone is expected to retail at $799 for the 16GB version and $999 for the 64GB version when Apple pre-orders commence in Australia on October 7.
